Founded as Ascalon Holding GmbH in Vienna in December 2008, we now operate as Ascalon Consulting GmbH. In addition to managing our company investments, we also pursue our international consulting activities.

The Holding

From the very beginning, Ascalon Consulting GmbH has been involved in the acquisition and management of holdings in domestic and foreign companies within the construction industry, primarily in the segments of doors & windows fittings, profiles, construction elements and the its corresponding logistics.

International presence expanded

Since 2009, Ascalon has gradually acquired shares in VBH Holding AG in Germany. In 2016, this led to the acquisition of a majority stake of 65.82% and hence changing its structure into VBH Holding GmbH.

From 2017, Ascalon has been holding the majority in esco Metallbausysteme GmbH, a well-known trading house in the market of construction fittings.

Together with the our shares in VBH Holding GmbH, we now have obtained quite a strong market position in Germany and a significant international presence.

In order to further strengthen activities in these markets, Ascalon finally acquired 96.08% of the Finnish company SCANCERCO OY executing our international expansion strategy, contributing to further diversification of Ascalon’s portfolio.

Das Unternehmen

Bei der Ausübung unserer Holding Funktionen werden wir von den Büros der Raiffeisenbank International AG in Wien und Russland sowie anderen Finanzinstituten sehr gut betreut.

Bei internationalen Entscheidungen werden wir von Partnern wie z.B. Deloitte und pwc beraten, in Österreich und Deutschland von den Kanzleien Rödl & Partner GmbH sowie gkr Wirtschaft-Steuer-Recht Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH. Darüber hinaus können wir auf die langjährige Erfahrung eines breiten Partner-Netzwerkes zurückgreifen.

Unsere Tätigkeit als Holding-Gruppe ist die Voraussetzung für die organisatorische Infrastruktur aller Niederlassungen und koordiniert die Strategie, um einen reibungslosen Ablauf aller notwendigen Prozesse sicherzustellen und größtmöglichen Kundennutzen zu garantieren.
